Ginger's eyes go wide. She's quick to try and explain better, her pinky-locked hands breaking apart to wave in a placating gesture.

"Oh, no, I didn't mean that! It's not about telling the truth or lying, it's about trusting your friends not to let you down. Trust is different, right? Like, it's kind of the same, because you can't trust somebody who's lying to you, but even somebody who never lies to you at all might not be somebody you want to trust."

She beams again, not at all to be deterred in her ultimate goal.

"We're friends now, so I won't rest until we know we can trust each other. That's what friendship's about!"
