EVENING

[It's been so hard to stay awake and lively. Quark feels better than he did a few days ago, when the depression hit so hard nothing seemed to matter anymore and Enoch had to all but carry him around like a much younger child. But where he's usually so inquisitive, checking each and every corner of the buildings they stay in for the night to try and find any oddities to investigate, now he just sits.

He keeps an eye on Enoch as the man searches, anxious to be left alone to his thoughts, but the cozy confines of the snowed in room makes it near impossible to really be left alone at all. Quark gets comfortable, taking his hat off and cradling it in his lap so he can ease the weight pressing down on his head. He's not using to carrying so many things inside of it. Or, rather, things that are heavier than a few snacks.

Always conscious of how worried Enoch can be of him in return, whenever the man gets close or looks his way he makes an effort to smile. And when the door finally opens and their new traveling buddies emerge, Quark'll find enough energy to give them at least a somewhat warm welcome.]

You made it!

NIGHT; POST LOCKDOWN

[As tired as he looks and feels, Quark has trouble sleeping. He's become use to this feeling. He doesn't want to wake anyone else up, but if someone's close by and seem up for a conversation, he'll turn to them. Anything to distract himself from the quiet. The silence has stopped feeling comfortable.]

How are you feeling?
