[network] @cgriffin; day 004, afternoon [open]
I know there's been a lot going on. The sickness, the vaccines, Klaus Mikaelson's death - we know now that the Admin isn't afraid to let us die. The idea @LELRIC posted - establishing base camp - should be our first priority, but while we're all getting there, we can take the chance to search for clues. I've heard of enough strange things that it can't be a coincidence.
So far, I've seen a room covered in incorrect math equations and a table set for four like whoever lived there had to leave suddenly. I've heard about a notebook with insane scribblings, but I haven't gotten a chance to look at it. If you have, I'd like to hear about it.
I'd also like to hear about the places you've traveled here, even if you think it's insignificant. Everything helps. Any pictures would be appreciated, too. If we can compile all the information we have, maybe we can start to make sense of it.
Oh - and I found running water.
( feel free to threadjack if you want to! )
( EDIT: clarke has marked the door of building 26 with the word water. it will remain there on day 004 and vanish overnight. )

[ Assuming there isn't more than one. Hrrm. ]
Somebody drew pictures of like dresses and outfits in it. fashion stuff, I guess they were a designer or something
but over time the designs kind of degrade
the art's pretty good at first but by the end it's just stick figures. Not even good stick figures. scribbles
it's kind of familiar

Where is the water?
[He didn't know how to take pictures on this metal square, only switch the video camera and send/read text. That was as good as it gets. Though he did agree with the idea of establishing a camp. He had yet to meet anyone.]

Seems like these were left behind here by whoever was here before us.
[ He's mostly keeping an eye on the things other people are sharing.. but he's at least not selfish enough to offer something up in return too like this. ]

Ain't had a chance to look 'round much, but I'm thinkin' I'll fix that today. [He flashes a smile but it leaves quickly thereafter. It makes his teeth chatter too much.] Let's see...woke up in a nice house. Two-story, three-bedroom, fireplace, balcony, real pleasant. Weren't no water, though, no wood to burn, kinda empty. There's a, uh...
[Clayton bites his lip in embarrassment.]
...armchair, in the living room? It's all tore up. [His fault, he's very sorry about that.] Might help tell it apart. Had a view of somethin' off where I'm headed now. 'Nother house, I hope.
[Clayton takes a moment to collect himself before he goes on to the next description.] Other place near that one is fulla cat stuff. Real easy to tell. Can't go two steps 'fore steppin' in a litter box or a scratchin' post.
Seems like a lotta folk been 'round that area--I haven't gone more'n a full day without runnin' into somebody. No clue where this all is with the walls, though. [He makes a vague gesture at the area around him, or judging by the camera angle, the sky.] Maybe somebody else who done more travelin' than me got a better idea of that.

Those both sound kind of disturbing, but definitely significant. I found a house with a lot of empty cages, some had been smashed, and some had the bones of small animals still inside. I think we should try and make sure all this information gets kept in one place somehow...

The building where I woke up in didn't have much aside from one room. It looked like the walls might have been covered in some sort of paint, and there were some canvases, too. I think they might have been painted on before.
That was all.

I've also found a house that looked like they had a lot of pictures on the walls, but they're all gone now. One with a collection of smashed porcelain animals all over the floors and one with a collection of sports memorabilia all over the place. Non smashed.

Because I'm getting pretty tired of melting snow. [Seriously. Melting snow sucks, and the resulting water is so cold he's pretty sure he's going to get a sore throat or something worse eventually.]

Cold running water, I'm guessing? Wishful thinking for it to be hot.
Are you working with @spoiler? In regards to information.
