Someone's been in this house since I visited it yesterday.

[As seems to be routine for Clayton at this point, he provides evidence for this with some pictures. They're of the inside of house 83, specifically the dining room; there's one shot of a chair, lying in pieces on the floor; then another of the door frame leading into the kitchen, which is noticeably chipped and dented from abuse; then the last is a wide shot that puts the carnage in context. There is at least one large cat tower in the background of the dining room, for reasons that escape Clayton's understanding, but that's not his primary concern right now. To him, this looks like the scene of a fight.]

It's the house with all of the cat toys. Was anyone here recently? Are you okay?

[Oh my god. It's a good thing Tim can't see Clayton's immediate reaction of gently burying his face in his hands until he calms down a little bit. His response isn't too delayed.]

Don't apologize! [Although he should, for breaking some stranger's property. Clayton keeps this to himself.] I was concerned that it could have been one of the people who brought us here--or one of us running into one of them.

there were noises. but I didn't see anyone
But a friend told me he saw someone I'd need to watch out for and I didn't have a weapon, so
I needed to improvise

Who are you that worried about? Are they on the network?

haven't seen them around but they don't need to be on the network to be here, right
and my friend said that he saw the guy lurking outside
we're thinking he might have been hallucinating because he saw other stuff that wasn't there but
Idk it seemed like a real threat at the time. maybe it still is?
ugh this place sucks. messing with everybody's heads, I hate it
anyway
just keep an eye out for a guy called Alex I guess. but I don't think he'd be dumb enough to use his real name if he knew me and my friend were here so

If he isn't on the network, then he won't notice us talking about this.

Hallucinations were a common symptom. It was frightening, I know, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. And given how isolated we all are, anyone who chooses not to go on the network to stay hidden isn't going to get very far without some kind of help. I'll keep an eye out, but you'll be fine. I'll make sure of it. Alright?
