[ The idea that people here die all the time, that friends die all the time, won't settle yet into his bones. He's going to have to see it first to really believe it.

The fact that Beyonce (that's this guy's name, right?) is actually answering his question though, is already more useful than most of the other responses he's gotten so far.

There's a couple of things for him to react to though, as he starts checking on the information he's just been given. He saw the descriptions about radiation and nanomachines being injected into their blood streams — two things Rocket finds extremely easy to accept as true. But as he starts to search the attachment for any place with the word "shoe" in it, there's a couple of interesting options. ]

This ain't no two-story house. So not 99. [ He mutters, like he's talking to himself now and nearly forgotten that Beyonce is there. ] Shoe store ... [ 167. And it says that someone lived in the back for some time, so Rocket straps his tablet to his side as he looks around for any signs that there is a back to begin with. When he finds it, it doesn't look like anyone's been there in a long time. ] Maybe, but probably not likely. [ The camera comes back to him now, as opposed to following the motions of a small animal pouncing around on all fours. He's looking at the document again. ] 304. [ Then just silence, as his eyebrows are furrowed again. ]

You have got to be kidding me. I'm actually in a radiation zone? What the fuck is this place?

[ It seems like he's more outraged that he's been put into a radiation zone than being kidnapped. It's ... odd. But then he hears that question, and he realizes that yeah ... he posted to the community network, and that's where Peter responded. ]

You could say that. [ It's the first thing he's said that isn't overtly stuffed with attitude. Instead, there's a reserved kind of suspicion behind those words. An implied: Why, what's it to you? Because in truth, Peter was more than a friend. Rocket had only recently discovered that he thought of all the Guardians as family, and out of all them, he felt most protective of Peter. ]
