[ He's woken up to the sight of an opened zipper over his head, framing his view of the ceiling with its teeth. It doesn't take a lot of investigation to figure out that he's in a bag, and the realization is more than enough to spur him into action-- Vasquez sits up abruptly, ignoring the stiffness in his joints as he gets moving. Clearly, he's done a whole lot of nothing for a while, and waking up somewhere new only adds to his confusion. Where exactly was he, anyway? This...didn't look like the inside of any building he'd been in, and he gets the feeling that he shouldn't be here for very long. It's not exactly welcoming, and he's pretty okay with the idea of getting the hell out of here before he figures out why. ]
[ Eventually, once he's left the building as per the not-so-subtle instructions plastered on his tablet screen, he gets on the network. He starts out by clearing his throat, and there's the faint rustling of fabric as he gives himself a quick once-over to make sure nothing's too drastically out of place. He doesn't feel any different yet, so maybe everything's okay? Being optimistic might also be a terrible idea. ]
Got two questions for you all. What day is it, and what's the situation here in hell? I'm a little-- out of the loop, if I'm gonna be honest.
[ Being dead will do that to you. The sound of snow crunching underfoot fills the pause Vasquez leaves; he's moving to...somewhere. He'll have to figure that one out later, although perhaps a little more soon-ish so he doesn't wind up dying by damn exposure again. He's going to make a point to avoid doing so in the future. ]
Well, it doesn't look like everything's burned to the ground from here, so I'm assuming we haven't seen a second apocalypse, or...whatever fucked this place up to begin with. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.
