[John is here again on a new night, and the world is just as dark and terrifying as before. There seem to be more red dots than before (at least to his eyes), and the creatures are everywhere around him. Mary is still with him, of course, and she's looking just as scared. He takes her hand when it looks like one of the red dots is getting too close and he runs.
