Actually, I believe the trick with bear encounters is to make yourself as big and noisy as possible to call their bluff. Running only spikes their predatory drive and then they chase you down to maul and eat you. Unless cubs are involved in which case running might be your only option.

I was certain this place wasn't real, but inside of a computer? I expected less white in the circuitry of a computer, I admit.
