Glowing Eyes

[A] Outer Hallways
[Ed starts here, for whatever reason. Perhaps it's a blessing, seeing as he has a minute to himself to sort of formulate how he's going about this. Anyone who comes across him might find him feeling across the walls for any sort of seams, depressions or weak points. The sound of breathing coming from somewhere puts him more on edge than he has been during this whole ordeal.

When he hears footsteps coming to towards his direction he freezes, suddenly aware he's without much to defend himself outside of his own ability to fight. ...somehow in this place that's not all that comforting.]

Who's there? I'm not afraid to kick your ass if I have to! [real intimidating.]

[B] Inner Hallways
[Eventually, Ed's found himself in the inner hallways, and while he's still trying his best to search out any sort of seam or weak spot in the walls, he's mostly just trying to move through whatever kind of maze this is more quickly. Which is what gets him into trouble, sort of. It's hard to tell when these halls do the weird drops, and even though Ed's being as careful as one can expect him to be when the hallway he's in cuts through another, lower one he loses his footing to the fall.

With a yelp he didn't have that much control over leaving his mouth, Ed drops roughly into the lower hallway, his face abruptly meeting the new, lower floor. Luckily or unluckily someone may be near enough to see his graceful exit.]

Dammit! Who the hell would build something like this? [Ed's gloved hand lifts up to touch his poor nose which is doing a good job of bleeding, but at least it's probably not broken.]

[C] The Core
[The air pressure is almost uncomfortable, considering the pressure change from the earlier hallways makes his ears want to pop.]

After all of that, this is the middle of this rat maze? [It's frustrating. He's tired, cranky but at least by this point his nose has stopped bleeding from his fall earlier.]
