[log] Rub-a-Dub-Dub [closed]

Characters: House, Ecks, Lutha, and Frisk
Location Building 188
Date: Day 172
Summary: There are too many people in a tiny bathroom, but there is a shower with working hot water!
Warnings: Cursing is very likely. House and Lutha are their own warnings.

[Only the bathroom remains of this apartment--a shower, attached tub, a sink, and a closet. It's cramped, but it's livable--and the hot water works!]

[Once some of the initial tension dissapates, Frisk goes about setting themselves up more properly for the night. Which in this case means setting themselves up in a corner of the closet, with their pillow and their blanket.

Not that they're complacent. They know that Lutha and House could be a bad combination. So they keep the door open as much as space allows and their eyes and ears on alert. It also helps to get in the middle of everything, offering some of their food and trying their best to chatter like nothing's wrong. Like they're fine, not sick and depressed and worried about so much. It can only last so long though.

Truthfully they're tired. Really tired, lately. Especially since Toriel died.

Speaking of which, later into the evening, when everyone's settling down to sleep, they take her letter out and read it over again. It still hurts, but they try to keep any quiet sniffles or hiccups to themselves. Eventually they slip over to their tablet, to read some of the monsters stories.]

[Once Ecks has packed away the things she'd gotten out earlier, and once the others choose places to settle into, she begins considering once again the prospect of washing her socks. That thought leads naturally enough into thoughts about imitating Doctor House's earlier routine in the rain-tub-thing (shower? is that what he had called it?), and it's not long before she makes a decision and digs out the relevant supplies from her bag.

Off comes the leather armor at last, draped carefully over her bags. Off, too, comes her clothing, equal care given to drape it where it can stay dry. She does this in full view of the others, utterly unperturbed by her own nakedness. Unless interrupted, she will methodically go about her preparations before stepping into the shower, taking the socks and undergarments she just removed with her.
