[Sora's quiet for a long moment after Cloud finishes speaking, his hand tightening against his shirt. He knows that bravery doesn't come without fear. He's felt fear so many times through his journey and each time it tests him; makes him have to learn to get a few steps ahead and get back on his feet.

But there are times when he just wants a break. Wants to be able to look at the people he cares about and know that they're safe. Why can't it ever be that easy?

When he finally speaks his voice is barely above a whisper, his eyes closing as he ducks his head.]

I won't give up. I can't give up. Not with so much on the line. [Every single world was depending on him and the other keyblade wielders.] I can't let fear control me though. I know that--it almost did a few times. With Ansem and Xemnas...and then when Xehanort tried to take my heart away. [His eyes open and he looks up at Cloud, frowning softly but there's a determined edge to it.] I won't let any of that stop me, though. I can't.
