What do you mean, "go crazy"? How long do I have?

Hallucinations, mostly. I don't know what the exact cut-off is, but it's better not to stay anywhere longer than a day or two. Better to keep moving every day if you can.

Thanks for the warning. Are the monsters common?

They're getting more and more common, it seems like. It may be worse for people who have something called the Beacon, which you don't.

They're not bad enough that you run into them every day. It's been almost a week since our group hit one.

Common enough that you need to be on your guard all the time. Make sure you check around the inside of the houses, too, before you settle in for the night.

[Well, that's good news, at least. Although the fact that she apparently won't be able to defend herself against monsters that like to hide in houses is unsettling.]

Can you tell me what a Beacon is?

It was an application that appeared on the tablets. There's a theory going around that the people who activated it attract more monsters than the ones who didn't, but it's just a theory at this point; my buddy and I are planning on testing it at some point.

Does the application do anything else that you know of?

There were a few days when everyone got sick except the people in our group who activated it.

When it first appeared, everyone was hallucinating something. Hitting the button made it stop.

That's all I know about it.
