I mean, I can run a large intestine like any guy, but no. They usually don't want me doing much more than observing on the live ones. [He's exaggerating a little bit. House has performed surgical procedures, but they're typically the kind that involve minimally invasive actions... or majorly invasive ones after the surgeons have things set up so he can't kill anyone too easily.] I do more autopsies than surgeries. I've got a neurologist and an intensivist on my team and a whole surgical unit at the hospital when I need that kinda thing done.

The thoughts are enough to douse the heat inside of him that's been embarrassingly close to the surface for the last several minutes.] My intensivist. Probably the most irritating overall, really. He's a brown-noser with a side of back-stabber. Daddy made a call and Cuddy told me to put him on my team. He's not a complete idiot, but some days I wonder.
