[log] clint barton's no good very bad week [closed]

Characters: Clint, Steve, Ecks, Natasha and Tony
Location: Building 108
Date: Days 155 and 156
Summary: Clint finally meets Steve face to face after he revives - and also finds Ecks again. Nat and Tony catch up the next day.
Warnings: Will update as necessary!

108: A standard single-story house with a kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and bedroom. The bed in the bedroom is a loft-style bed, giving extra space for the desk beneath it. One of the desk drawers is empty, and the others have countless small plastic cases that look like they could have been SD cards, although there aren't any computer chips in them. These are only plastic shells.

"I'm not leaving angry." And he truly wasn't. It hadn't been fair to tell these people information about the person he knew them to be when they weren't exactly willing to share the same with him.

That their Captain America was brave and saved their lives? It was a non-point. They all were brave. Each one of them. They all saved lives. It was their job, one that they had all happily accepted.

"But I am leaving. Two weeks ago, I gave up being Captain America. I gave up the Avengers. I decided to do things on my own and in my own way and anyone that thought the way I did was welcome to help. I'm going to keep looking out for answers here. And I'm going to help people here. I'll keep in contact if anything turns up of use."

And that really was going to be that.

"Call me if you need me." But he doubted they would call too soon and that was all right with him because it had to be. Just like everything else in his life.

Steve shouldered his pack and gave a little wave, reminded Tony of the SD card he left him and trudged out into the snow.
