[log] a couple of setbacks later [closed]
Characters: Royce Melborn, Alfie Solomons, Tifa Lockhart, Emily Kaldwin
Location: Building 50 (bonus Building 44)
Date: night of Day 142 (plus, bonus Day 144)
Summary: Reunion log!
Warnings: Will update as necessary!
A standard two-story house with an attic. The first floor has a kitchen, living room, and dining room, while the second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The entire house has been done up inside in Victorian style--it probably cost quite a lot of money, and no detail is spared. The color scheme is a bit dark, though, and it's difficult to see in here during the night. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, DAY EIGHT, TRAVELLING EAST" and "ALPHONSE ELRIC, STEPH BROWN, MAMI TOMOE, FREYA CRESCENT, EDWARD ELRIC, DAY TWENTY-FOUR, TRAVELLING WEST" have been carved into the hallway wall. "ALPHONSE ELRIC, EDWARD ELRIC, GREED, DAY SEVENTY-FIVE, TRAVELLING SOUTH-WEST. DEAR FORMER RESIDENT, WE ARE FRIENDS, PLEASE DO NOT FEEL YOU NEED TO HIDE FROM US. CONTACT LELRIC." has been written on the wall. Written on the wall in blue ink is the following: "This is Building 80 on the composite map. Contact @CaptSteveRogers for details." Underneath is a pretty accurate map showing the house in relation to the south and west snow walls, the school and athletic shed, the funeral home, and buildings 34, 35, 37, 39, 40, 41, 46, 47, 48, 49, 53, 57, 58, and 59. The snow wall is labeled "Snow wall." House 58 is labeled "Entrance to ice tunnels." The school is labeled "School. Food available in cafeteria; DO NOT STAY HERE OVERNIGHT." The athletic shed is labeled "Shed". The funeral home is labeled "UNSAFE; DO NOT STAY HERE OVERNIGHT." House 34 is labeled "Medical assistance; hot, clean water. Contact Dr. Epps @claytonator".

So now I'm Empress. [Strangely, she doesn't seem terribly upset about this, not that she's glad. It seems she is a bit detached, or perhaps has already made peace with it.]
no subject
[It's genuine, not pitying, at least.]
What's Corvo like?
no subject
He's very nice, but--he has a serious face a lot. [She bunches hers up to show Tifa. Pulls her brows down, not so much scowling like Royce as just looking intently and sternly. Purses her lips into a line.] Mother said it's because he has a lot to do, so he's thinking about it all the time.
I'll draw him. [It's not a very accurate representation, but it's pretty good anyway. A man with dark hair and a filled in jacket. The sword is on his hip. He's wearing a skull-looking, though.]
no subject
[Tifa points to the skull mask thing.]
Does he wear that all the time?
no subject
To her, it was interesting. To Piero, it was a masterpiece.] Now he doesn't need it. He still has it in his room.
no subject
[This kid has had a heavy life, god. Tifa is going to try to steer this towards something a little more... cheerful. She points at the whale again.]
We have those at home, too, but they live in the ocean. Are all the whales where you're from magical?
no subject
They live in the ocean at home, too. There's not a lot left, though, because people kill them for whale oil to use to power things.

[So she tries! She continues talking while she does.]
Chocobos are really big, big enough to ride. Some people race them, and others just keep them as pets. Usually they're yellow, but they can come in all sorts of colors.
[She's doing a decent job, at least, drawing a big, terrible looking chicken thing.]
no subject
my God.
Emily is so amped for the fucking chocobos.] It looks like a chicken. But it's a really big chicken? [Multi-colored giant chickens.] I would like to ride one. I would keep one like a horse--for riding, and I would take care of it.
It does look silly, but it's cute. [Even with Tifa's drawing.] Do they hatch out of eggs when they are babies?
no subject
Yes, they do. When they first hatch, they're really tiny and fuzzy—adorable. Most people use them just like horses where I'm from.
no subject
She would have to go to a different isle, but that's okay. She would just move the capital there.]

no subject
But I would get some babies, and then I would raise them. Did you have any chocobos?
no subject
[Oops, she's still awkward talking about Cloud. Sorry, Emily.]
no subject
You should have gotten your friend to buy you a chocobo. It could keep you company. Like a wolfhound.
