[network] @cgriffin; day 004, afternoon [open]
I know there's been a lot going on. The sickness, the vaccines, Klaus Mikaelson's death - we know now that the Admin isn't afraid to let us die. The idea @LELRIC posted - establishing base camp - should be our first priority, but while we're all getting there, we can take the chance to search for clues. I've heard of enough strange things that it can't be a coincidence.
So far, I've seen a room covered in incorrect math equations and a table set for four like whoever lived there had to leave suddenly. I've heard about a notebook with insane scribblings, but I haven't gotten a chance to look at it. If you have, I'd like to hear about it.
I'd also like to hear about the places you've traveled here, even if you think it's insignificant. Everything helps. Any pictures would be appreciated, too. If we can compile all the information we have, maybe we can start to make sense of it.
Oh - and I found running water.
( feel free to threadjack if you want to! )
( EDIT: clarke has marked the door of building 26 with the word water. it will remain there on day 004 and vanish overnight. )

Where is the water?
[He didn't know how to take pictures on this metal square, only switch the video camera and send/read text. That was as good as it gets. Though he did agree with the idea of establishing a camp. He had yet to meet anyone.]

What direction have you been traveling? I've been going southwards, but it seems everyone I've spoken to has been traveling many different directions.
no subject
What does the last building you've been in look like? Then we can try to figure out where you are in relation to everyone else.

[This is the best way Robb could describe a bunk bed. He had never seen one before.]
Have you come across any wildlife or food? I haven't myself.
no subject
[ It's strange, not to know what bunk beds are; even those from hundreds of years ago — who seem to be in the majority — know. She makes a note to find out the year he came from later. ]
I haven't seen any animals, but I found a can of soda. Not very nutritious, but I guess we need whatever calories we can get right now.

Any food is welcomed at this point. I would go hunting, but I've yet to see any wildlife. Not uncommon with such conditions, but I've yet to even see a rat. My direwolf has yet to track anything, either.
[He certainly didn't know what 'soda' was, but as stated, any food is welcomed.]

As far as I know, direwolves are extinct. What year was it, the last you remember?
no subject
The year is 299AC. It is said direwolves were extinct south of the Wall, but while out with my brothers and father, a litter was found and Grey Wind has been with me ever since. They are the sigil of House Stark, my house.
[He refrained from mentioning he was king. The less that would know, the better, but it was appearing quicker and quicker that it didn't matter.]

We use AD, where I come from. Anno Domini.
no subject
After Aegon I Targaryen's conquest of Westeros, unifying 6 of the 7 kingdoms.
Where are you from? I've been here long enough that none know of my world.
no subject
2149 AD. I used to live somewhere called the Ark. Now I live
[ She pauses. Camp Jaha? Not anymore, not right now. She doesn't like to think about it. Maybe the guilt will never subside. Clarke almost feels like it shouldn't — people deserve to feel guilty for what she did. Justified or otherwise. ]
I don't know where I live anymore.

[Winterfell was burned to the ground, for all that he knew. Theon Greyjoy most likely lead that offense and spat on the graves of the kings buried in the crypts. But now wasn't the time to be self-pitied. He was here, and perhaps the Gods had something in store for him that he yet knows.]
Does it appear that others are traveling soutwest-ward?
no subject
[ An unfortunate commonality, perhaps, but one nonetheless. ]
I know Alphonse (@LELRIC) mentioned moving southwest earlier. I've been trying to tell the others to travel as far that direction as possible, until they meet the walls.
no subject
...Walls?
[the wall?]
Then I will begin my journey in that direction.
no subject
Good - maybe we'll meet, then. Let me know when you reach one of the walls.

[ Of the sky people, she might've said back home. But here, they don't know about the Ark or Camp Jaha. It's like her people might as well not exist. ]
We don't have lords where I'm from.
